    Helped solve our pups stomach issue

    Our corgi Azura was having stomach issues with her previous food (Blue Buffalo Puppy if anyone's curious), but once we switched to this it definitely helped. I did notice that this kibble is significantly less greasy, like if I picked up her previous food it would leave a residue on my hand, and I don't get that with this food, I'm not a scientist so I don't know what that means but less grease is almost certainly better.I think it's a bit on the pricey side for how much you receive being almost double the price for the same quantity, but as long as my pups stomach isn't hurting then I'm happy and it's still cheaper than buying fresh food.The kibble is shaped in a star pattern but I and I think it could be a little bigger to encourage chewing, but she definitely loves the food scarfing it down rapidly.

    Great puppy food for Corgi's !

    My corgi puppy really enjoyed this food and finished the whole bag with no issues. It was gentle on his stomach, which is a big plus since he can be sensitive, and I didn't notice any upset tummy while using it.The only thing I would change is the kibble size. I do like smaller pieces for a puppy, but these were a little too small for my dog because he tends to inhale his food. Slightly larger pieces would help encourage more chewing. The ingredients are all great ( like all of this brands food!) and there was no strong or unpleasant odor.It is a little pricey, but for a sensitive puppy, I think it's worth trying a breed-specific food.

    WSAVA approved

    We ordered this while fostering a seven month old Corgi through rescue, so it was a great opportunity to try a breed-specific puppy formula. He transitioned to it without any digestive issues, had normal stools throughout, and seemed to enjoy it from the start. We had no concerns about palatability or tolerance during the time he was with us.One of the reasons I chose Royal Canin is that the company is among the few manufacturers that consistently meet the nutritional and quality control guidelines recommended by the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA). It's worth noting that WSAVA doesn't approve or endorse specific brands, but they do publish rigorous standards for nutrition, research, manufacturing, and quality control that consumers can use to evaluate pet food companies. That gives me a higher level of confidence in what I'm feeding, especially for a growing puppy.The kibble size also seemed well suited to a young Corgi, and I like that this formula includes ingredients to support healthy growth, digestion, and developing joints, all of which are especially important for a breed with a long back and short legs.Royal Canin is definitely one of the more expensive options, but in my opinion it's also one of the better ones. If it fits your budget and you're looking for a food backed by extensive nutritional research, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it based on our experience.
