What is mirror spray paint used for?
Mirror spray paint is specially designed to transform ordinary glass or clear acrylic surfaces, such as vases, jars, framed glass, and candle holders, into a reflective, mirror-like finish when applied to the reverse side.
How do you apply Rust-Oleum mirror effect spray paint?
Always apply the oil-based spray to the back or inside-facing side of clean glass. Hold the can 10 to 12 inches away and apply multiple light coats, waiting about 1 minute between layers until you achieve the desired reflection.
Does mirror spray paint need a backing coat?
While optional, applying a light coat of flat black paint over the dried mirror spray helps darken the finish and creates a deeper, more realistic mirror appearance.
