Product details
Description
The Saelno L090 Flexible 3-Piece L-Jaw Coupling Set is engineered for heavy-duty industrial and agricultural power transmission applications. Built from robust cast iron HT250, this coupling assembly offers superior strength compared to standard powder metallurgy alternatives, ensuring long-lasting performance under high-torque conditions. It features a black oxide surface treatment that delivers excellent corrosion and rust resistance for demanding operating environments.
Designed to seamlessly connect rotating motor shafts, this set accommodates a 1/2-inch bore with a keyway on one side and a 3/4-inch bore with a keyway on the other, secured securely via integrated set screws. The included NBR rubber spider insert effectively dampens vibrations, absorbs shock loads, and compensates for minor angular and parallel misalignments between connected machinery. Fully interchangeable with major industry standards, it is an ideal replacement part for log wood splitters, air compressors, industrial pumps, blowers, conveyor systems, and diverse motor-driven equipment.
How to use
- Ensure the equipment is powered off and completely disconnected from power sources before installation.
- Slide the 1/2-inch coupling half onto the driving motor shaft and secure using the provided set screws and keyway.
- Position the NBR rubber spider insert onto the jaws of the first hub.
- Align the driven shaft into the 3/4-inch coupling half, press it against the spider insert, and tighten the remaining set screws securely.
- Verify proper alignment and freedom of movement before operating the equipment.
