FAQs
Are flirt poles good for dogs?
Yes, flirt poles are excellent for dogs as they provide intense aerobic exercise, stimulate mental focus, and satisfy natural chasing instincts. They are also highly effective tools for teaching impulse control and basic commands like drop it.
What are the dangers of flirt poles?
The primary risks involve joint strain from sharp, high-speed turns or hard jumping. To ensure safety, keep the lure low to the ground to prevent high jumps, use the toy on non-slip surfaces, and limit sessions to under ten minutes.
What size flirt pole is best for my dog?
A forty inch extendable flirt pole is a highly versatile option that works well for large, medium, and small breeds. It offers a wide enough radius for outdoor chasing while collapsing down for safe indoor play.
Is this SailStart dog flirt pole authentic and available for delivery in India?
Yes, this is an authentic SailStart product imported directly from the USA. Dropy India ensures all imported pet care items are sourced directly from genuine international distributors and delivered right to your doorstep.
How do I prevent my dog from destroying the cotton rope lures?
The flirt pole is designed for chasing and controlled catching rather than continuous, unsupervised chewing. When your dog catches the lure, reward them and use a command like release or drop it to exchange it for a treat.
