    Good for protecting your skin from gels

    I've found them really helpful, but they do need a bit of persuasion to fit neatly around the fingers sometimes. My method is to make sure the skin around my nails is clean and dry, then use tweezers to place the aprons on - you probably won't be able to place them well with just your fingers and they'll end up folding and sticking to themselves.For doing my gel manicures at home, I like these as extra protection so I don't get uncured gel on my skin. They're great for this purpose, but I don't think they'd be great for trying to get a really clean edge on a normal manicure or to avoid flooding your cuticles since some of the aprons have a rather thin, uneven edge to them.They do seem to leave a sticky residue, but it comes off easily as soon as I wash my hands.
