Seachem Prime 250ml is a comprehensive and highly concentrated water conditioner engineered for both freshwater and saltwater aquarium setups. It functions instantly to neutralize hazardous chlorine and chloramine while converting toxic ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that your aquarium's biological filter can efficiently process.
Additionally, this advanced formula temporarily binds nitrites and nitrates and neutralizes typical levels of heavy metals found in tap water. Designed to protect aquatic life, it promotes the natural production and regeneration of the slime coat without altering pH levels or overactivating protein skimmers.
Ideal for routine water changes, new tank setups, and emergency cycling situations, this imported treatment ensures a stable and healthy aquatic environment.
How to use
- Use 1 capful (5 milliliters) for each 200 Liters (50 US gallons) of new water.
- For smaller volumes, please note each cap thread is approximately 1 milliliter.
- May be added to the aquarium directly, but it is better if added to new water first.
- If adding directly to the aquarium, base the dose on the total aquarium volume.
- For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely.
- To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times the normal dose may be used.
- If the temperature is greater than 30 degrees Celsius and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.
