Description
The Sedicoca CHENLAN Hand Grip for PlayStation Vita 1000 is an essential accessory designed specifically for handheld gamers seeking maximum comfort and precision during extended gaming sessions. Crafted from premium, durable hard plastic and featuring a flexible clip-on design, this handheld controller case easily snaps onto your original OLED model console.
It works by providing a robust, full-sized controller feel to the compact portable system, making it an excellent addition for retro enthusiasts and modern remote play gamers who find standard handheld layouts straining over time. This protective grip completely transforms your portable layout by adding distinct resting points for your thumbs and expanding the chassis width, which prevents painful hand cramps and strain.
The exterior is treated with a specialized satin finish and textured rubberized coating that maximizes tactile friction, ensuring your device remains locked in place even when your hands sweat during intense gameplay. Beyond ergonomics, the hard plastic shell wraps around the vital edges of your console, providing an extra layer of structural durability that shields your device against everyday bumps, accidental drops, and surface scratches.
The clever design ensures you maintain complete access to all front-facing control buttons, analog sticks, charging ports, and head jacks, while simultaneously providing a physical buffer that stops accidental touches on the rear touch panel.
How to use
- Gently align the bottom edge of your PlayStation Vita 1000 console with the base clips of the hand grip.
- Carefully snap the top portion of the hard plastic frame over the front edges of the console until you hear a secure click.
- Verify that all buttons, ports, and analog sticks are completely accessible before beginning your gaming session.
- To remove, gently pull back on the top flexible release tab and lift the console outward.

FAQs
Are PS Vitas still usable?
Yes, they are highly usable for retro gaming, homebrew projects, and remote play. Using an ergonomic accessory like this external handle setup dramatically improves usability for modern gamers.
Can I connect a PS5 controller to Vita?
Standard systems do not natively support dualsense controllers without unofficial modification software. An ergonomic plastic handle attachment is the easiest way to get a traditional controller feel on the go.
Is the PSVita 1000 or 2000 better?
The 1000 model is highly praised for its vibrant OLED screen, though it is heavier and bulkier than the 2000 slim model. This specific grip accessory is molded exclusively to fit the thicker structural dimensions of the 1000 series.
Is this authentic Sedicoca CHENLAN grip available for delivery in India?
Yes, Dropy India sources this product directly from authorized suppliers in the United States. We guarantee 100 percent authentic USA-imported gaming accessories delivered straight to your doorstep across India.
Does this handle grip fit the PlayStation Vita 2000 Slim model?
No, this item is engineered exclusively for the original launch model PlayStation Vita 1000 (PCH-1000). It will not align properly or snap onto the thinner dimensions of the 2000 series console.
