FAQs
How to connect 2 monitors to laptop with USB-C?
You can connect two monitors by plugging a Multi-Stream Transport adapter like this one into a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Connect your DisplayPort cables to the adapter first, then insert the adapter into your laptop. Finally, configure your display settings to extend your desktop across both screens.
Does this adapter support extended mode on all laptops?
This adapter supports Dual Extended Mode on Windows operating systems. However, due to system limitations within macOS, Apple laptops will only support Mirror Mode, meaning both external monitors will display the exact same image.
Can I run 2 monitors from 1 DisplayPort?
Yes, using an MST hub or splitter adapter designed for dual outputs allows a single source port to split into two independent connections. This adapter achieves that by utilizing your laptop's USB-C port to feed two individual DisplayPort monitors.
Is this Selore adapter an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is a 100% genuine Selore and S-Global product. Dropy India imports these premium personal electronics and tech accessories directly from authorized sources in the USA, ensuring Indian consumers receive authentic international standard hardware.
Why is my laptop not sending video to the monitors through this hub?
Please verify that your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or video output, which is often indicated by a DP logo next to the physical port. Additionally, ensure you plug your display cables into the adapter before connecting the adapter to your computer.
