Product details
Description
Experience the true acoustic voice of your guitar with the Seymour Duncan Mag Mic active soundhole pickup system. Designed for serious musicians, this dual-source unit pairs a hum-canceling magnetic stack pickup with a built-in omni-directional condenser microphone.
The magnetic stack captures dynamic string response and punchy articulation while eliminating 60-cycle hum, and the internal microphone introduces natural wood resonance and top-end air for percussive playing styles. Onboard thumbwheel controls allow you to easily blend the magnetic and microphone signals directly at the soundhole to find your ideal live tone.
Powered by a single long-lasting battery, this system fits standard steel-string acoustic soundholes measuring 3.75 inches to 4.2 inches. Whether you perform plugged into stage amplifiers or studio mixing boards, this authentic USA-imported pickup delivers exceptional acoustic clarity and warmth without sacrificing your instrument's natural character.
How to use
- Mount the pickup securely into the soundhole of your steel-string acoustic guitar, adjusting the clamps to fit soundholes between 3.75 inches and 4.2 inches.
- Connect the cable to an endpin jack or amplifier, insert a fresh battery into the preamp holder, and adjust the onboard volume and microphone blend wheels to your preferred acoustic tone balance.

Best soundhole pickup period
Using this daily before my college jamming sessions and evening practice. The dual source mix with the condenser mic gives so much air and top-end clarity compared to standard piezo pickups. Worth every penny spent.

Good clarity for fingerstyle
Saw a video online and decided to order it for myself. The magnetic stack does a solid job of killing hum while keeping punchy articulation. Took me a couple tries to fit it properly into the soundhole size range, but once set up, the acoustic voice sounds very genuine.
