FAQs
Can I convert my Blackstone griddle to natural gas?
Yes, you can convert compatible Blackstone 28 inch and 36 inch griddles, Tailgaters, and Rangetop Combos using a specialized natural gas orifice conversion kit. However, models featuring built-in air fryers or specific culinary editions are not compatible.
What size orifice for propane blackstone griddle?
Orifice sizes vary depending on whether your equipment runs on liquid propane or natural gas and whether it operates on main or side burners. This conversion kit provides specific metric thread sizes including M6x1.0 and M6x0.75 with precise millimeter bores to accommodate natural gas conversion safely.
What happens if you run natural gas through a propane orifice?
Running natural gas through a smaller propane orifice will result in very weak flames and insufficient heat output because natural gas requires a larger opening to deliver the correct volume of fuel.
