A brightening setting powder for foundation
SHEGLAM Blur in a Bottle Loose Setting Powder in Banana is excellent at keeping foundation in place. On hot days, I still need to wear makeup for work but I pare it down and focus on setting it a little more. I apply sunscreen, then foundation and concealer in spots, and then I apply the banana setting powder. In winter, I would apply powder with a fluffy powder brush. In summer, I use a powder puff to press the powder into the foundation, which helps keep it in place. The banana powder has a wonderful brightening effect. It doesn't change the color of your foundation but it makes your skin look brighter.

Blurring, mattefying, setting, creaseproof
This powder is FANTASTIC! It blurs, mattefies (without making my face look cakey or dry), sets my makeup, prevents creasing (even in my bad undereye creases that way more expensive powders struggle with), and keeps my makeup from breaking up even in bad humidity, hot weather, and sweatiness. I've been using it with the new Sheglam blurring matte setting spray (in the silver and black can) and this has kept my makeup perfect even after walking around doing errands in heat, almost 100% humidity, and sweating. The last picture of my face is after being outside for hours (you can tell cuz my hair has some frizz hahaha) with zero touch ups. I got the banana color of this powder too, which is the first time I've tried banana powder (I was worried it would tint me yellowish) and it doesn't give my face a yellow cast at all and it looks better in pictures, I definitely recommend! I don't usually bake with powder since I have dry skin, I just apply it in thin layers usually with a puff (sometimes I use pressed powder first; in the photo of my face I'd used some of the Jouer brightening powder in pink just under my eyes) and this works perfectly for that. It's super finely milled and I think it has some light diffusing properties because it noticeably smooths my skin. My only very minor gripe is that the cap is small, I usually pour some powder into the cap and then pat the puff on it, tap off the excess, and apply - it can be done with this cap, or if I want a bigger area, I just put it in something else, so it's an easy fix. This powder is also a fantastic value, like everything from Sheglam. I highly recommend!

Lightweight Blurring Powder. Perfect for Minimal Makeup Days.
This loose setting powder worked very well for me to smooth out imperfections in my skin and reduce shine. I ordered the shade banana, which is a soft, muted buttery yellow. I used a velvet makeup sponge for application. The powder is very fine and applied smoothly with the sponge. It sets under-eye concealer without adding a visible layer. It doesn't look cakey or emphasize wrinkles. I have combination skin, and this powder works well for my whole face. I especially like using it on no foundation day when I only wear sunscreen. The blurring effect subtly enhances my natural skin while keeping shine under control for several hours. This powder works very well over makeup, but it's also perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. The powder comes in a large shaker bottle with a lid, which helps keep things from getting messy in my makeup bag. Overall, this is a great lightweight setting powder that blurs, sets, and looks natural.
