  Golden Sun 😎

  I am obsessed with the Golden Sun shade! This is one of those bronzers that gives you that effortless "I just got back from vacation" glow without looking overdone. It's not too dark, not too lightjust the perfect balance for adding warmth to the skin. For some reason it says it's a matte shimmer which doesn't make sense to me but i still love it.The shimmer is chef's kiss. It catches the light beautifully and gives you a radiant, litl from within finish instead of looking glittery or sweaty. It's the kind of glow that makes your skin look healthy and expensive.The formula is super silky and blends like a dream. It melts into the skin without getting patchy or clinging to dry areas, and I love that I can build it up without it ever looking muddy.If you're chasing that soft, bronzed, golden-hour makeup look this summer, Golden Sun is definitely the shade to grab. SHEGLAM seriously keeps surprising me with how good their complexion products are.

  Did not make me look muddy and blended well

  Pros: I was excited to try this bronzer from SHEGLAM since I have a bright winter complexion and have always been told bronzers aren't my best friend because they tend to look muddy on me. I also have a naturally round face, so I wanted to reintroduce bronzer into my makeup routine to help with some subtle contouring. Since I have a light complexion, I chose the lightest shade, Golden Sun, and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't look muddy at all. I applied it along the edges of my face the way I was taught for rounder face shapes, then placed my blush closer to the apples of my cheeks rather than sweeping it diagonally upward, which helps draw attention to the center of my face rather than the width of it. I'm pretty self conscious about my face shape and usually pull my hair down along the edges to soften it when I'm dressed up, so having a bronzer that gives a subtle slimming effect through contour was a nice confidence boost. I didn't break out at all, and it actually felt quite moisturizing, which makes sense given the Squalane in the formula. Squalane is great to see in a bronzer because it helps the powder melt into skin rather than sitting on top and looking dry or patchy, while also keeping the skin underneath hydrated throughout the day. The contour effect was subtle without looking harsh, and it blended out easily without much effort. It doesn't come with its own brush, so I used my LAURA GELLER NEW YORK kabuki brush, which worked really well with this formula. I also appreciated that the compact comes with a built in mirror, so it's ready to go for touch ups on the go.Cons: Since this doesn't include a brush, you will need to have your own bronzer or contour brush on hand to get the most out of the formula, so that's an added cost or step for anyone who doesn't already own one. I also had to be intentional about placement given my face shape and complexion concerns, so this may take a little more thought for fair or cool toned skin tones to avoid looking muddy, even though this particular shade worked out well for me.

  Natural, buildable finish. Excellent bronzer at a value price.

  I ordered the lightest shade of SHEGLAM Dream Touch Bronzer, Golden Sun, hoping it would not be too warm for my cool-toned light/medium skin. When I opened the compact, I thought it looked like it would be warmer than I like. But, it definitely didn't look orange-y, so it was worth trying.I am very happy with this product. It goes on sheer, which I prefer, but it's really easy to layer applications to get the depth you want. I apply with a BK Beauty 107 brush and the application is not one bit patchy, even if I build up the color. I use this product as a natural eye shadow, too - mainly for contour blending.I applied this bronzer over a light-coverage tinted sunscreen, and I applied a good setting mist over it. The healthy, natural-looking bronze glow lasted all day and into the evening, until I washed it off.The product looks pearlescent in the pan, and I think this is what creates a natural and very slightly dewy look on my face. There's no shine, no glitter. Just a healthy sheen. The product title says it's a matte contour palette, but I beg to differ.I typically spend a lot more on bronzer, and decided to give this one a try because I noticed the brand had some interesting cosmetics products on Dropy. It's an excellent value, and is now a part of my daily makeup application.

  Gorgeous, totally natural looking, sun-kissed color!

  In the past I have tended to avoid wearing bronzers often, mainly because they usually end up look muddy or dirty on me. However, I absolutely love this one and have quickly found a place for it in my everyday makeup routine. I ordered the shade "Golden Sun" and love it. This shade is very subtle even on very light skin tones. It is buildable so I have complete control on how defined I want to go. It gives my skin a very natural looking, light golden, sun-kissed glow. It does not look the slightest bit obvious or harsh.The texture of this product is also great. It is extremely finely milled so it has a velvety soft, smooth feel. It is perfectly weightless, blends out like a dream, and has good longevity. It comes attractively packaged in a sturdy flip top compact with a built in mirror. The price is outstanding and the performance is amazing. Two thumbs up from me. I will likely purchase this in another shade. I can easily recommend it.
