    Light to medium, comfortable and smooth.

    For a while I avoided Sheglam products but decided to give them a chance given their affordability. Here, I tried out their Lock & Go Long-Lasting Cushion Foundation which claims to be a soft matte. Thankfully they have a wide spectrum of shades here and I was able to get my ideal winter in, Sand. This comes in a sturdy compact that looks like it can be refillable as the foundation holder of the compact can easily pop out. Going on, I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth and weightless it feels to the point where I actually forget when I have it on. I'm sure the dimethicone contained in it has something to do with that smoothness in general. If anything, I'd say it has more of a light to medium coverage, that's slightly buildable and lets your natural features like birth marks and freckles shine through! It dries down nicely to more of a satin finish and easily blends throughout. Given the feeling, longevity and comfort, this is definitely well worth the price for my oily skin, as it wears beautifully without any touchups and doesn't feel dry one bit!

    Like this product a lot more than tirtir cushion foundation. I have dry to combo skin. Tested out w/out primer and it stayed on just as I had placed it... I even slept with it... No breakouts, no irritation, no smudge. Used with Sheglam setting spray and honestly my best combo yet! Going to have to try with primer first and see if it'd be better. Coinsidentally colour matched myself on the first try. No strong odour... Took a sniff of the compact and it's like a very faint wall-paint kind of scent. Buildable and lightweight on skin. Impressed.

    Good for oily skin.

    I own all Sheglam foundations. I really like this brand. It offers excellent makeup at very affordable prices. This cushion foundation is my least favorite of all the foundations they offer. This does not means it is a bad quality product. It just didn't work well for my skin type.There is a learning curve when it comes to cushion foundations. It is very easy to apply too much product. You must apply it with a light hand and slowly build it up. This cushion is a full coverage one with a cream to powder formula. It dries quickly and it is very long lasting. This formula is ideal for people with oily skin because it neutralizes the oil and you don't need to set it with powder.On the other hand, if you have dry or combo skin I would not recommend this foundation because it could settle on dry patches, fine lines, and look cakey.The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. It looks elegant and it is very high quality. I love how it comes with a mirror.I bought the shade Nude wich it is my shade in all other Sheglam foundations and it was a little light for me. Take that into consideration when buying this product.
