FAQs
Which wax is used for grafting?
Grafting wax typically consists of a blend of natural ingredients like beeswax and resin. These materials are chosen because they create a flexible, protective seal that hardens enough to protect the plant while remaining elastic enough to accommodate growth.
What is a grafting sealant?
A grafting sealant is a specialized paste or compound applied to plant wounds or graft sites. It functions as a protective layer that keeps moisture in, prevents sap leakage, and acts as a physical barrier against insects and diseases.
How to use grafting wax on trees?
Apply a thin layer of wax to the exposed cut or graft site using an applicator like a stir rod. After the wax is applied, tightly wrap the area with the provided grafting tape to secure the union and protect it from weather and pests.
Is this product authentic?
Yes, this Shupakul grafting wax set is an authentic USA-imported product. Dropy India sources all items directly from the USA to ensure our customers receive genuine, high-quality gardening and personal care supplies.
What does tree wound sealer do?
Tree wound sealer protects fresh cuts on trees and shrubs from environmental stress. It aids in the healing process by locking in moisture and preventing rot or fungal infections that can occur at open wound sites.
