Product details
Description
The Silca Endurance Chip is a professional-grade hot melt wax additive engineered to significantly improve the longevity and efficiency of your bicycle chain lubrication. Designed for cyclists who demand ultimate durability during endurance and gravel rides, this semi-synthetic wax blend features ultra-long molecular chain lengths that provide superior protection against environmental wear.
By incorporating this additive into your standard hot melt wax, you create a more resilient surface that reduces friction and extends the time between re-waxing intervals by up to two and a half times. The formula utilizes advanced tungsten disulfide nanoparticles to ensure smooth operation and consistent drivetrain performance across varying conditions.
Because this additive permanently modifies your base wax, every subsequent application becomes more effective, providing a reliable barrier that maintains speed while minimizing maintenance frequency. This high-performance chain doping solution is compatible with various hot melt waxes, making it an essential upgrade for any serious cyclist looking to maximize the life of their drivetrain components while maintaining professional-level efficiency on long-distance adventures.
How to use
- Melt 250 to 300 grams of your preferred hot melt chain wax in a dedicated wax pot.
- Add one Silca Endurance Chip to the liquid wax and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved.
- Once mixed, submerge your cleaned and degreased chain into the molten wax, ensuring full coverage.
- Allow the wax to harden on the chain and perform a short break-in period of 15 to 20 minutes of riding to allow the surface to settle.
Ingredients
