  The mascara you didn't know you needed

  Wow this stuff is nice!!So I rarely wear makeup, like maybe twice a year maybe not at all. This mascara will last me probably the next 40 years, lol.But omg I've never worn such smooth and beautiful mascara in my life. I know that's not saying much bc I'm used to the local pharmacy makeup aisles, so $90 makeup is something I've never experienced but I now absolutely understand why the women who wear makeup daily spend so much on products. This is what makeup is supposed to be like, not the clumpy $10 mascara at Walgreens. No, the classy, beautiful, and smoothly applied Sisley Paris is the kind of product that makes a girl wanna use her bathroom vanity desk for hours.I'm still gonna be that Appalachian Hillbilly woman that I've always been, who only wears makeup on special occasions and sometimes can't remember if she brushed her hair before she went to work, but this mascara will forever remain my secret weapon that makes my already long eyelashes stand out even more. It'll forever be that product that makes ppl at weddings say my gosh Felicia your turquoise colored eyes are beautiful, all bc my Sisley Paris mascara lashes draw their eyes to mine.So if you are the kind of gal who wears makeup to run to the store for milk, I'm not sure if you can afford to buy this. But if you're the kind of gal who only plays dress up once or twice a year and who loves to make folks you know turn their heads in awe and say WOW!! you look amazing, then this is the product for you. You'll have this mascara for years to come and it'll be worth every penny when those snobs you went to high school with see you at the reunion while they are wearing the Walmart special and actively watching their husband like a hawk bc they are jealous of how gorgeous you look! (Insert half grin with evil eyes here, immediately followed by a LMAO emoji, lol)

  No clumps, easy to remove

  I was intrigued when I saw this mascara show up, as I've never used one worth more than $30 prior. I was very impressed with this mascara. Firstly, the pictures in the listing are extremely accurate to how it looks on me (I tried uploading pictures but it wasnt working, so I will try to add once this review posts). I was nervous when I took out the wand as the mascara looked thicker than the brands that I usually enjoy using, but was pleasantly surprised to see zero clumping! My lashes were individually coated without getting stuck together. The mascara thinly coats the lashes, making them look longer, without appearing too thick. Because of this part I would use this more for an everyday makeup look than for a glam look. I had no issues with flaking or mascara getting smudged, and at the end of the day when I used a makeup eraser to remove my makeup, the mascara came off extremely smoothly with no issues or globs left. Sisley Paris is definitely a luxury brand, and the price point reflects that, but I am very happy with this mascara and will be incorporating it into my makeup routine.

  Excellent Curl Retention, Premium Price

  The Sisley Paris Phyto-Noir Mascara surprised me in a few ways, particularly when it came to curl retention and overall comfort. I have very straight lashes, with shorter lashes in the inner corners and fuller lashes through the center and outer edges. Most mascaras tend to weigh my lashes down and undo any curl fairly quickly, so that's usually my biggest concern. While curling my lashes beforehand still helps, this mascara did a noticeably better job of maintaining that lift throughout the day than many formulas I've used. The hourglass-shaped brush took a little practice to master, especially around the inner corners. Once I got used to it, though, it grabbed even the smallest lashes surprisingly well and helped lift them upward. I also found that applying the mascara with straight upward strokes worked much better than my usual zigzag technique. The upward motion enhanced length and lift, while zigzagging tended to leave smudges on my eyelids that weren't as easy to clean up. The formula itself feels lightweight and conditioning rather than dry or stiff. It contains ingredients such as vitamin peptides and Resurrection Plant extract, which are intended to help hydrate and strengthen lashes over time. While it's difficult to judge long-term benefits from short-term use, it certainly feels more nourishing than many mascaras I've tried. Performance throughout the day was excellent. I wore it during rainy weather and experienced no noticeable transfer, and by the end of the day my lashes still retained most of their curl. It also didn't flake on me at all, which is something I always appreciate. Removal was equally impressive-my cleansing balm took it off quickly and completely without leaving any residue behind. My only real complaint is the price. It's difficult for me to justify as an everyday mascara, even though the performance is excellent. That said, if it were more affordable, it's absolutely a product I would purchase again. For anyone who struggles with straight lashes and values lift, curl retention, comfort, and clean wear throughout the day, this mascara is worth considering.
