FAQs
What scale length or body size is your acoustic guitar?
These extra-light 10-48 strings are versatile and generally compatible with standard scale acoustic guitars, including dreadnought, concert, and auditorium body shapes. The lower tension profile makes them particularly comfortable on instruments with standard scale lengths.
Do you prefer extra light (.010) or a heavier tension like light (.012)?
Choosing between extra-light (.010) and light (.012) gauges depends on your playing style and comfort preference. Extra-light strings offer easier bending and reduced finger strain, making them great for beginners and fingerstyle players, while heavier gauges deliver higher volume and stronger low-end resonance.
What gauges are included in this string set?
The GB1048 set includes individual string thicknesses measuring .010 for the high E, .014 for the B, .020 for the G, .030 for the D, .036 for the A, and .048 for the low E string.
