FAQs
Do cooling weighted blankets actually work?
Yes, cooling weighted blankets work by utilizing highly breathable fabrics like specialized microfiber that allow body heat to escape. This prevents the fabric from trapping warmth while still delivering the deep, calming pressure needed for relaxation.
Is it okay for a 10 year old to sleep with a weighted blanket?
Yes, a ten-year-old can safely use a weighted blanket, provided they can comfortably move and lift the blanket off themselves. For a lap blanket of this size and weight, it is perfectly suited for school, home, or nap use.
What's wrong with weighted blankets?
There is nothing inherently wrong with weighted blankets, but they may feel too restrictive for individuals with respiratory issues or claustrophobia. It is crucial to choose the correct weight, usually around ten percent of the user's total body weight.
