I've been using the SKALA Watermelon Shampoo for curly and coily hair for regular wash days, and it's been pretty decent as a gentle everyday shampoo. It lathers lightly and cleans my hair without making it feel stripped or overly dry afterward, which is something I notice quickly with stronger shampoos. The watermelon scent is fresh and slightly sweet without lingering too heavily once my hair dries. I also like that it leaves my curls feeling softer and easier to detangle compared to harsher shampoos, though it's not especially moisturizing on its own. I still need a good conditioner afterward. Overall, it feels like a simple, lightweight shampoo that works well for maintaining curls without weighing them down.

Honestly, I don't have anything bad to say about this shampoo. I find that having curly/wavy hair imposes a type of hair tax where everything to care for it is more expensive. Not to mention the time and labor that goes to maintaining it. For under $7, I'm happy about this shampoo. I believe that it cleans the scalp and hair quite well without stripping the scalp nor is it overly moisturizing. When I buy my shampoos, I just want a clean scalp, nothing that will weigh my hair down at the roots too much. It works really well to clean the scalp and hair and I didn't have a ton of issues styling it afterwards. I like the watermelon scent - it's more on the sweeter rather than hyperrealistic side of things. It's faint and I would've liked it if it was stronger!

Smells amazing and super affordable!
This shampoo smells so good- the watermelon scent is fruity and fresh without being overpowering. It leaves me hair feeling really clean without drying it out, and my curls felt soft afterwards. For the price, I was honestly surprised by how good it is. The ingredients are nice, it lathers well, and a little goes a long way. Definitely a great affordable shampoo option if you like sweet fruity scents and want something gentle on curly hair.

Lovely Light Watermelon Scent
I've got wavy/curly hair that can sometimes feel quite dry, so I figured I'd give this shampoo a try and am happy that I did. The consistency is a little thinner than I expected, but it still lathered just fine. I really like the watermelon scent, and I appreciate that it's not an overwhelming fragrance. It seems to be effective, too, and my hair ends up feeling plenty soft and moisturized after shampooing with it. I'm not sure if it encourages my curls any more than my regular shampoo, but I do love how it seems more moisturized following its use. I'll continue using this product and would say to give it a try if your curls feel like they need the moisture.
