Description
The SKIPGEAR Professional Polyurethane Dog Rain Vest is the ultimate solution for pet parents who refuse to let wet weather ruin outdoor routines. Crafted from premium, heavy-duty polyurethane fabric certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (Class I), this raincoat ensures baby-grade safety for your pet by being strictly phthalate-free and completely odorless.
Unlike standard polyester jackets that saturate quickly, this advanced physical shield allows rainwater to slide off seamlessly, keeping your dog completely dry and comfortable. The smart open-leg, vest-style design prevents the friction common with full-body suits, providing unrestricted movement for active small dogs.
It features an adjustable high-stand collar that keeps wind and rain out, while the quick-fasten industrial-grade hook and loop belly enclosure makes dressing wiggly dogs hassle-free. A built-in two-way vertical zipper on the back ensures full harness compatibility, equipped with an internal fabric guard to prevent any painful fur snagging.
Perfect for daily potty breaks and low-light monsoon walks, this vest includes strategically placed reflective strips on the chest and hips for comprehensive side-profile visibility.
How to use
- Open the hook and loop belly closure completely.
- Slip the raincoat over your dog's head and adjust the high collar toggle for a secure but comfortable fit around the neck.
- Pull the belly strap snugly under the torso and press the hook and loop fasteners together to secure the vest.
- If using a harness, pull the zipper tab on the back to open the leash slot, ensuring the inner guard protects your dog's fur, then attach the leash to the harness ring.

FAQs
Is it worth getting a dog raincoat?
Yes, a premium dog raincoat is highly beneficial. It keeps your dog dry and warm during heavy downpours, prevents the unpleasant wet dog odor, and protects their underbelly from mud and splash back, making post-walk cleanup much simpler.
What is the best raincoat for dogs?
The best dog raincoat is one made from certified waterproof, non-toxic materials like polyurethane, which offers a physical barrier against rain rather than a temporary water-resistant coating. It should feature adjustable closures, harness compatibility, and reflective strips for optimal safety.
How do I choose the right size for my dog?
Measure your dog's neck circumference, chest girth at the widest part, and back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Compare these measurements against the sizing chart, prioritizing the chest measurement for a comfortable, non-restrictive fit.
