FAQs

What type of crossover is recommended for these bullet tweeters?

It is highly recommended to use a high-pass crossover set to at least 4 Kilohertz. This filters out lower frequencies, protecting the delicate 1-inch voice coil from damage while maintaining pristine audio clarity.

What are the exact mounting dimensions required for installation?

These compact tweeters require a front mount baffle cutout diameter of 2.83 inches (72mm) and a mounting depth of 1.56 inches (39.5mm). The overall diameter of the faceplate is 3.78 inches (96mm).

Can these tweeters be wired directly to a factory car head unit?

While they can function on lower power, these pro audio tweeters perform best when connected to an external amplifier. They feature a 4-ohm impedance and can handle up to 240 Watts peak power per pair to match high-output systems.

Are these Sky High Car Audio tweeters authentic imports in India?

Yes, these are authentic Sky High Car Audio products imported directly from the USA. Dropy India sources genuine international audio components directly to ensure Indian car audio enthusiasts receive original equipment.

What is the benefit of the silver bullet design in the center?

The silver-colored bullet acts as a phase plug. It helps guide high-frequency sound waves outward for better dispersion while acting as a heatsink to cool the voice coil.
