Product details
Description
The SmallRig Foldable V-Mount Battery Mounting System is an all-in-one power and rigging solution designed specifically for mirrorless and DSLR cinematography. Featuring an innovative, modular L-shaped structure, this system allows filmmakers to attach high-capacity V-lock batteries directly to their camera setups without the added bulk or weight of a full traditional camera cage.
Built for maximum efficiency, the baseplate integrates an Arca-Swiss quick-release mechanism that enables instant transitions between handheld shooting, three-axis gimbals, and heavy-duty tripods. To accommodate a wide variety of camera bodies up to one hundred and eleven millimeters thick, the baseplate features a stretchable design that extends up to thirty-six point five millimeters via a tool-free toggle lock.
Videographers no longer need to compromise on ergonomics; a dampening thumb lock allows the entire battery plate to pivot down ninety degrees, providing full access to your camera's flip-out LCD screen without requiring battery disassembly. Constructed from premium materials while weighing only two hundred and thirty grams, this lightweight system supports complex camera rigs weighing up to five kilograms.
It also offers multiple quarter-inch and three-eighths-inch mounting threads alongside a mini V-mount plate, opening up diverse power possibilities including NP-F battery adapters and portable power bank holders.
How to use
- Mount your camera body onto the upper Arca-Swiss quick-release plate.
- Adjust the stretchable baseplate to fit your camera's depth and secure it using the tool-free toggle lock.
- Slide your chosen V-mount battery into the V-lock interface until it clicks securely into place.
- Connect your camera to the battery using a compatible D-Tap or USB-C power cable.
- To access your camera screen, loosen the side thumb lock and pivot the battery downward.
