    I've been taking these daily for around two months for ...

    I've been taking these daily for around two months for hormone-related hair loss. My hair does seem thicker (and slightly more oily), but it may be too early to tell. However, a major benefit for which I will probably keep taking these is the reduction of headaches and migraines. I used to get one migraine a week and several headaches around my period, but I have yet to have either since I started taking these! You should definitely take them with food if you have a sensitive stomach as I have noticed that they make me slightly nauseous when I take them on an empty stomach.

    Great Product!

    I have been taking this product for over a year. The capsule is larger than a vitamin D capsule but smaller than a typical fish oil supplement. I do not experience any side effects. I have taken it with and without food. I take it for its anti-inflammatory properties and hair growth support. This supplement, along with my Nutrigold fish oil, seems to help maintain balanced hormones and keeps mild joint aches at bay. I only buy this Solaray brand because it is cold pressed and appears to be the best sourced black currant seed oil product I can find.

    An OBGyn Recommended for Mild Depression - TOTALLY WORKS

    About 6 years ago, I would have bouts of depression that would hit me pretty hard for a few days at a time. I could barely get through the day at work and then I'd crawl into bed. A crushing feeling in my chest, a feeling of dread, and a desire for sleep would overtake me. This went on for a year or longer. I was living in Singapore at the time and my OBGyn suggested I take Black Currant Seed Oil. She actually gave me some that her office kept on hand. (It wasn't this brand, but bear with me on the story....). Anyway, I've taken 2 black currant seed oil tablets since then and I have not had one episode of this since. Once I could feel that feeling coming back and I realized I'd accidentally skipped a few days. Took the pills and it went away by the next day. I am posting this because it seems to not be a widely known thing in America, where every doctor just wants to put you on Zoloft or another med vs trying something herbal. I hope this post helps someone. I bought this brand recently and it's fine. I've bought many brands over the years, though, and they all worked just fine. So am really posting more about the overall use of this - but go ahead and give this brand a try :-) (Also, I just realized I am writing this on my husband's account so if you're wondering about the name, I really am a woman :-))
