    EWG approved

    I looked up all the ingredients on the EWG site for safe cosmetics, and all the ingredients got a score of 1, which is their best rating. This is a foaming cleanser by the addition of the Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, this is a very mild surfactant, which is suitable for sensitive skin and claims to be non drying. I don't see how any surfactant can be nondrying, as that is what surfactants do - bind to lipids and remove them, so I leave that up to you to judge. I mainly use water to wash my face 2x a day and a cream cleanser every couple of days since I have eczema prone skin that can really dry out. I found this cleanser to be more drying than my cream cleanser, so I will reserve it for when I have more product to remove, like a heavy sunscreen after the beach, and will extra hydrate my skin after it's use. If you generally use a foaming cleanser and can tolerate it, I think this will be a great option for you as it is all clean ingredients, which is very rare to find in a cleanser. The smell is great, subtle and not artificial, like a mix between daffodils and tulips. I would purchase this again for when I need a foaming cleanser.

    Works well so far for highly sensitive skin

    I have highly sensitive combination skin and a lot of allergies - and due to occasional breakouts triggered by sensitivities, also suffer from occasional light scarring. The idea of a pH balancing cleanser that regenerates damaged skin barriers appeals to me, though I do feel that much more prolonged use is necessary to see any major results. The ingredients seem a little unique and I was particularly interested in the use of phytosterol - which is used to treat burn victims. For now, I can testify that the cleanser is non-irritating and hasn't broken me out. It lathers well, feels effective at cleansing, and leaves my face refreshed after each wash. There is a slightly clinical scent (for lack of a better description) that I'm not overly fond of, but I'll take it over parfums in my skin products.

    Non-toxic, non stripping and economical

    I'm in a using non-toxic products phase in my life since I was sick for almost 2 years. I want to replace everything we use in my house. Everything has something that's toxic to your body. I have G6PD, which means my blood doesn't have an enzyme that helps protect the red blood cells. Due to this, my body is always trying to keep up producing more red blood cells because my red blood cells are getting destroyed. Reducing the toxic load in the body is very important especially if you have this condition. I bought this item because it didn't have any listed ingredients flagged by EWG or Clearya. If flagging of the ingredients didn't appear, I searched the ingredients one by one in the ewg site to ensure it was in the "green" zone. This cleansing gel is considered "green". Is economical compared to other cleansing gels. It's easy to use. This cleansing gel met the non toxic criteria plus it was economical compared to other cleansers. I took a chance and bought it and I'm glad I did. It's not stripping at all. It comes out like a liquid but once you rub your hands with it, it turns into a lather (as pictured). I'm happy I found a healthy, non toxic, non stripping and economical cleansing gel for my face.

    Good cleanser

    This cleanser does a good job cleaning my face without drying the skin. The pump is convenient and I just need half a pump to do the job. I like Korean skincare and SOME BY MI is a good reputable brand.
