    Fantastic Ingredients [But Contains Dimethicone]

    This has some really great ingredients! It has Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate as the first ingredient (eve before water!), and has it listed as 86.24%. I really appreciate when a product uses the ingredient they're highlighting in their product in a high concentration rather than putting it at the end of the ingredients list. This stuff has historically worked well for my skin, giving it a nice glow and helping with my pores. There's also niacinamide, rice extract, vitamin e, and ceramide np, and that's not even everything! I LOVE that this doesn't have any added known irritants or fragrance either (the ingredients on other websites show this might have lavender oil, but my ingredients on the box say otherwise and I don't smell anything either, YAY). I really really wish this didn't include dimethicone though. While it's a fantastic ingredient in skincare and can give a smoothing effect, it's something I try to avoid, ESPECIALLY in my first steps/toners. Silicones can limit the absorption of successive products (which isn't great especially in toners since they're usually my first step after cleansing). With that being said, this is solidly formulated and has really lovely ingredients. It feels nice, absorbs nicely too (and you can layer it well!). I love milky toners, they're ever so slightly more viscous than watery toners but sink in just as quickly and this is no exception. This bottle is priced fantastically (around $13 at the time of this review) for how much you get too.

    Love this toner, makes my skin look and feel great

    I've only just recently started taking skin care seriously and have only tried a handful of toners so far so I don't have a lot of experience with them. Of all the toners I have tried, this one has been my favorite so far. I love that this toner helps to strengthen the skin's barrier and that it helps to even out skin tone, reduce dark spots, improves skin texture, and keeps the skin soft and hydrated. These are all the things I'm concerned about most with my skin so having one product that can tackle them all, is great! I haven't been using this toner that long yet but I'm already noticing a difference how my skin looks and feels. I've been using it after washing my face in the morning and evening in combination with another toner, a heartleaf hyaluronic acid and witch hazel one. While I was having okay results just using my other toner, once I added this Galactomyces Glutathione Glow Milky Toner it really elevated my skin. I haven't experienced any irritation with my skin at all. Instead my skin is left feeling soft, moisturized skin that's starting to look healthier and more even. One of my favorite things about this product though is the price. It's super affordable and very reasonable for a product like this especially considering how long it should last you. I would definitely recommend this toner and plan to make it a staple in my skin care routine.
