Previous school radio
I bought four of these for my family to use in case of a power outage. We played with them for a while and all agreed that they were well worth the price. They functioned well and were very durable. Recommend them to anyone who lives in a place where electricity goes out frequently or for the outdoor enthusiast.

Notable
I live in the heart of tornado alley. You never want to need something like this, but it's always better to be prepared. This little radio is exactly what you want to have on hand. It's small, and will fit easily in a drawer. Easy to hold and carry since it doesn't have giant batteries weighing it down.Features: 1, the radio. I was able to get an FM signal clearly without raising or extending the antenna. Has AM/FM, adjusted with knob dials on the front. The speakers were nice and loud.2, the light. Has 3 brightness levels, adjusted by repeated button press. It worked but I did not test in total darkness. Won't replace a lantern for ambient light but makes a decent flashlight.3, the SOS. It is an alert siren, like the pin pull alarm sound. Does not actually signal SOS but it's fairly loud and should alert assistance nearby if you are trapped in a shelter. My complaint is that it is activated by long pressing the flashlight button and not hard to do accidentally.4, the USB. USB-C to the unit and USB to the wall charges the radio, USB in the unit and USB-C out charges a phone from the radio. Necessary to achieve a full battery charge.5, charging. Start the charge with the crank. Took about 5 minutes to get it to 75% battery. I was not able to get it past that point with the crank. Solar panel is for sustaining battery for long periods. Have not tested. USB is needed to fully charge. Battery indicator is a series of LED lights with a typical blink/solid system. For the price, I love the peace of mind and the ease of use. Hopefully I will never need to put it to the test.
