FAQs
How to use Star Brite teak cleaner and brightener?
Apply the solution directly to dry wood for heavy weathering or wet wood for light cleaning. Let it sit for a few minutes, scrub gently with the grain, and rinse thoroughly with water.
Is teak brightener necessary?
Yes, if your wood has turned gray or black. While a cleaner removes dirt, the brightener restores the natural golden hue and opens the wood grain to better absorb protective oils.
What is the best finish for outdoor teak wood?
After using a cleaner and brightener, applying a high-quality teak oil is recommended. This seals the wood and protects it from UV rays and moisture, maintaining the restored color.
