Lovely Quality
The Sangean Lunchbox radio brings a lot to the table. * Ultra rugged. It's reception is extraordinary. * Longer antenna option. * It's Yellow! Features I wish it had: * Aux Jack In. * Basic to employ. The price went reverse up a not many days later, but Dropy likes to do that. Search my name and model of this radio for an in-depth video review on youtube. I know the Toughbox has one, but its green or black. * FM and AM reception is exceptional! Just like the box says. Features I like best about this radio: * BASS...yeah its got it. In general, at $52.00 you can't miss this one. Keep an eye out for it to drop in cost again. * AC power option, giving you more power to the speaker...oh my. * Tone control. Finding stations past 500 miles on the AM band. * Lovely and easy to read rear lit display. * More presets..this can be an regular radio.

Solid value for the amount
Obtained two PL-880 end of March 2015. At the low end of the battery, almost discharged, volume control starts act weird. Concern goes away after battery is charged. But one of the radios, black S# 42620141000963, ver. 8820, developed a concern. Will return radio and eventually purchase another one. When dialing down there is hysteresis. Other PL-880 does not exhibit described behavior. a Initially volume changes very little, and suddenly jumps into high level. Radio is wonderful.

Great little radio
I have invariably had a battery-operated radio at my residence for various reasons, but the main and most vital reason is in case the power goes out, and there is some type of emergency in the neighborhood. AND MP3 WITH BLUETOOTH CAPABILITY. A very significant rechargeable battery is included along with the ability to use 'D' batteries makes this a very versatile radio and a superb addition to the household I give it a 5 out 5 for ingenuity, versatility, option of power sources. ease of charging and multiduplex use This radio has fairly decent sound, AM/FM AND SHORT WAVE.
