I absolutely love this lip oil! If you're looking for something that's both hydrating and gives your lips a beautiful hint of color, this is it. It leaves my lips feeling incredibly soft and moisturized while adding the perfect natural-looking tint.The formula is buttery smooth and feels lightweight on the lips. I also love that it's moisturizing without being sticky or greasy, making it comfortable enough to wear all day.Is it a little pricey? Yes.. but in my opinion, it's completely worth it; you are paying for what you're getting for ;-). The quality is excellent, and it truly delivers on both hydration and color. I've tried plenty of lip products, and this is one that I keep reaching for.If you want soft, healthy-looking lips with the perfect touch of color, I highly recommend this lip oil. Summer Fridays Dream Lip Oil in Rosewood Nights.
I have the Summer Fridays Dream Lip Oil in Rosewood Nights, and I was initially worried it might be too dark, but it applies more like a flattering, glossy tint rather than a heavy, opaque color. On my fair, cool toned skin with pink undertones, it shows up as a soft, cool, plummy brown that looks very beautiful. It's definitely pigmented, but not heavily so or challenging to pull off. The tint deepens slightly if layered, but it still stays soft and glossy rather than opaque. The texture has a nice slip and feels nourishing on the lips, thanks to the blend of nine oils in the formula (castor, rosehip, shea, avocado, apricot kernel, jojoba, grapeseed, raspberry seed, and squalane). It leaves a glossy finish that makes lips look smooth and hydrated without feeling sticky. The formula also contains menthoxypropanediol, which gives a very mild minty cooling sensation. The tingle is subtle and mild, though, so it's not irritating. I also appreciate that it doesn't seem to have any noticeable fragrance. This is a comfortable, glossy lip oil with a flattering tint and a nicely nourishing feel. I'll likely collect the other shades as well, after seeing how lovely and easy to wear this one is.
