  Start slow

  This is a pretty heavy and dense cream. You don't need much, the amount I show on my finger tip is more than enough for my entire face. I actually ended up putting some on my neck from this small amount. It soaks in really quickly and doesn't leave any film or residue feeling on the skin.I made the mistake of using way too much the first time and had a slight bit of a reaction even with spf on during the day but then it quickly sorted itself out. I was slightly pink for a day and then fine. Normally my skin is not overly sensitive so I did want to mention this.After about 30 days (so far) I've noticed my skin appearing more even toned (I am pale) and healthy looking. Slightly more plump but no real effect on wrinkles yet but that's too early and I don't have much (yet!, hoping to keep them away!). It works well for me as a nighttime serum and because of the Hyaluronic acid it adds softness already so I have been skipping my normal moisturizer because this does enough. Make sure to wear sun screen during the day! well always, but especially with a retinol product! I like it so far.

  Powerful yet gentle retinol serum

  This retinol serum from Summer Fridays is a hydrating wrinkle-rewinding serum that makes my skin feel softer and plumper. It doesn't irritate my skin as some retinols do, and it has virtually no scent.It's still best to use it only at night and to wear sunscreen during the day as retinol can increase photosensitivity. The price is on the high side, especially for the 1oz size, but so far I'm happy with the results and with how gentle it is on my skin.

  What more can a girl ask for...

  I received a 1 oz bottle of Summer Fridays Midnight Ritual Retinol Serum. I'm still in search of something that helps with the redness on my face, and since this is from a brand I trust, I was excited to give it a try. The added promise of helping with fine lines and discoloration was definitely a bonus.The serum comes in a brown glass pump bottle that stands out nicely among the usual packaging on my vanity. The pump dispenses a controlled amount, so you don't have to worry about using too much product at once.The formula has no noticeable scent, which I always appreciate. The texture is smooth and slightly more lotion-like than a typical serum. It glides easily over the skin and dries quickly, absorbing without leaving any residue.In my routine, I applied it to a clean face as directed, using it on its own without layering other active products.   Love it

  This is a nice retinol serum by Summer Fridays. I've been very pleased with Summer Fridays products in the past, so I was excited to give this one a try. It's a good, effective serum that helps to improve my skin's texture and tone. The bottle has a pump style dispenser, which makes it easy to use. The bottle is small but you only need a bit of product for each application. The scent is light. It's an opaque white product that absorbed easily into my skin and was medium thick in consistency. It added a bit of moisture and seemed to add a bit of softness to my skin. There was no stickiness at all. I will continue to use this at night to give my skin an extra boost.
