Ideal for camping.
I own two cars and drive one or the other 120 miles round trip to work regular, and as of that I made a get home bag for each car. Altogether this was a solid match. This radio met all that. I did not give it five stars due to the fact in SW mode, I placed it next to my $200 SW radio and could not pickup the same channels probably because the receiver was not as good. Another con was the cheap protective box. Its superb for my application which is stuffing it in a bag and squishing it somewhere in the car but if I was using it for another purpose, I would buy a little box for it because the one it comes with is embracingly cheap. Trying to keep the get house bag less than 20lbs, one of the items I added was the smallest and most inexpensive radio I could find. I did give it four stars since after walking around, it could get most of the channels that my premium SW radio did without moving around. Overall it all the channels sound nice, the light operates, the crank and solar work, it is worth the cash and I would purchase it again. I did not want overpriced gear that can get stolen or go poor when not in use years at a time. With that said I wanted the radio to have a hand crank, solar power, rechargeable, AM/FM/NOA/ and SW.

Doent work long
Brought backside memories as a child, my Dad was a TV technician backside in the day of resistor's & tubes. He gave me a small radio resembling to this MD-T26 radio. Unlike my childhood radio, this is quite modern, with SW range, LCD Display and optional DC battery operation. Thank you Dropy and MD for this attractive and superb functioning Radio. Sometimes there are reminders and memories passed on through gifts such as this AM/FM/SW Radio. The retractable antenna rotation helps to locate the best radio signal. Makes for a great companion while working outside or just relaxing around the house.

It Quite does have Wonderful reception
This radio performs way above its dimensions ( will fit in the palm of your hand ) . I live in a city and the reception is upper notch . The sound quality is ok for a compact speaker although it has warping if turned up loud . The bluetooth and TF card are in stereo. The display is large and effortless too read . I have radios that cost much more than this one that won't do what this one will . You can turn the volume up when in the TF card mode and the sound isn't distorted. I would have given it a 5 star rating if the FM radio had been in stereo. The radio is intuitive too use for the most part ( had too look up how to set presets ) . It's actually quite a bit improved than when in radio mode and sounds very decent particularly for such a small speaker . Bass is good as is treble and midrange . All in all I would endorse this radio , the cost is appropriate .

Excellent reception
For the money this handheld radio is hard to beat. Easily one of the best handheld radios you can buy and at great price. Battery life is excellent on the internal rechargeable, plus you get the added option of two AA batteries so you can use this radio for a solid week before needing to recharge or replace batteries. AM reception is about typical for a small radio. Stereo headphone time with is pleasant. FM reception is superb. Subjectively a good looking radio and you can get it in five colors. The speakers puts out good craftsmanship sound and is finer than some handhelds costing much more. The shortwave coverage is nearly full and finer than most small radios.
