    Changed my life!

    This product changed my life! I'm not prone to exaggeration and don't leave that many reviews but a product this good is worth taking the time to endorse. I've been using it for a few months. Within a couple days of starting the B-1, I was feeling much better. I have not experienced any depression since I started taking it after battling depression my entire life. I've found that methlyfolate also helps (I've been taking that for a few years) but the B-1 has had a greater effect. The capsules are odorless, tasteless, and easy to swallow.

    These vitamins are American made and you cannot beat the price.250mg is a hefty dose of Thiamine, but they go up to 500mg. As a supplement only 1-2mg a day is actually recommended. It is a water-soluble vitamin meaning it shouldn't build up to a toxic level in your body. Poor nutrition and drinking too much alcohol can both lead to B-1 deficiency. Beriberi is a disease caused by thiamine deficiency; on the more nightmare end of the spectrum you have Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome. People with hyperthyroidism and prolonged fluid loss may also benefit from thiamine supplements. Good sources of thiamine in your diet include cereals, vegetables, and meats (pork in particular).Take care!

    Thiamin For Goats

    I buy this for our goats to make sure they get enough thiamin. We give it weekly, or anytime they seem a bit off, inserting the capsule in a dried plum (prune). Easy Peasy, and they think it's a treat!
