Description
The SwissStop Disc Brake Silencer Brake Spray is a specialized, high-performance metallic-based release agent engineered to eliminate annoying brake squeal and high-pitched vibrations without compromising overall braking performance. Designed for passionate cyclists and motorcyclists who demand a smooth, quiet, and reliable ride, this advanced formula quickly penetrates the microscopic pores of the brake pads, creating an evened-out surface that optimizes contact.
Beyond silencing noise, this premium spray actively assists in heat dissipation to counteract brake fade and ensures uniform wear across both your brake pads and disc rotors. It features a biodegradable carrier fluid that is completely safe for both organic resin and metallic sintered compounds, making it a versatile maintenance essential.
Imported directly from the USA, this solution restores safety, control, and peace of mind to your braking system.
How to use
- Remove the brake pads from the caliper.
- Thoroughly clean both the brake pads and the disc rotor using a dedicated bike brake cleaner.
- Shake the SwissStop Disc Brake Silencer can vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds until you hear the mixing ball rattle.
- Spray a small, even amount directly onto the surface of the brake pads and allow them to dry for a few minutes before reassembling.
- After reassembly, perform about 10 heavy braking tests to properly break in and bring the brakes up to temperature to restore full braking power.

FAQs
How to use SwissStop disc brake silencer?
Remove the brake pads, clean them thoroughly with a dedicated brake cleaner, and shake the can well. Spray a small amount directly onto the pad surfaces, let it dry for a few minutes, and reassemble. Finish by performing 10 heavy braking applications to bed-in the pads and bring them up to temperature.
Where to apply disc brake quiet spray?
The spray should be applied directly onto the friction surface of the brake pads after they have been removed from the caliper and cleaned. It is designed to penetrate the microscopic pores of the pad compound to smooth out the contact area.
Can you spray brake quiet on rotors?
While the primary application is directly on the removed brake pads, the formula is designed to transfer and work effectively across the braking interface. For best results and to ensure uniform application, focus the spray directly on the pads as instructed.
