My go to for Sjogren's Syndrome
I have Sjogren's Syndrome (some may know it as sicca syndrome aka dry eyes/dry mouth) and this is my go-to nighttime eye ointment application to protect my eyes overnight. It prevents that dry gritty sand like feeling in my eyes when I wake up in the morning. On especially bad days I apply it more generously and while you can definitely feel it, it's not a problem for when you're about to go to sleep anyway. Your eyes will be blurry for like 30 seconds or so but it goes away with continued blinking. You can always apply it in smaller amounts if the blurriness is a problem.I use this by applying some to the inside of my lower eyelid and then closing it against my eye carefully and rolling my eyes around with my eyes closed while gently rubbing my lower lid where I applied the ointment. Has worked well for the last two years.

Moist Gel Drops
These aren't so bad as other reviews made it sound. Yes they make you a little blind at first but it's not so bad. I out a small drop on the bottom eyelid and moved my eye around to get it all moist since the top/bottom get stuck or caught up in the dryness. It's awful. Trying to go see an ophthalmologist for this issue and hope there is nothing wrong with my cornea itself. So far they have stayed moist for about 5 hours as of typing this review. Give it a shot and see if it helps you or if it does not, but it is helping my eyes for now which is what I need.
