Highly endorse, great sound and battery life!
Agreeable radio. Battery life is magnificent. If you're torn between this and one of the "open source" all-band radios, I strongly suggest the former. Performance is good, with decent sensitivity and freedom from overloads and spurs; when compared with other budget-priced radios. The controls are effortless to learn. Consider using good headphones or an external amp/speaker for extended music listening. It powers on promptly and has minimal latency (the time taken by the DSP to render the audio). The sound projects nicely; it is fine for voice and for music at low volumes. It's the change between cobbling something together until it "works" and spending the time and expertise to make it "right".

Super cute Bluetooth speakers!
I favor that this pocket radio accesses three bands, AM/FM and SW. I also am pleased with that the radio has an earphone jack, a carrying strap, and a belt clip on hook. The radio is powered by two AA batteries (not included), and they are easy to insert and remove. The flashlight does not put out a luminous level of light, but it is great for utilize in a tent. I also appreciate that the radio has a 3 watt speaker that produces a loud volume for such a tiny radio, and the sound is superb for listening to basketball games and talk radio; music sounds about what I would expect for such a small radio, but I do listen to classical music on it since the petite size makes it easy to take the radio along with me just about anywhere. The radio even includes a small flashlight. The reception is good and I do not have to apply the built in extendable antenna to receive stations in the city. I absolutely favor this pocket radio and I advocate it to you. The low cost of this radio makes it a fine bargain for funds spent.

Fine Little Radio
Recommended radio - its does the job. Pleasant to have as you do not need to have wifi to operate the 'old fashioned' radio! Its a solid item, and looks decent in the home.
