FAQs
Where can I find a replacement spool for my Greenworks string trimmer?
You can find a compatible replacement spool designed for specific Greenworks cordless string trimmer models, such as the 2101602 and 2101602A, featuring pre-wound 0.065-inch dual lines.
How to restring a two-sided spool on a string trimmer?
While pre-wound spools eliminate manual winding, you can restring a two-sided spool by cutting the correct length of nylon line, inserting the ends into the designated anchor holes on the spool core, and winding both lines tightly in the direction indicated by the arrows before securing them.
How do you get more string to come out of a weed wacker?
Automatic and bump-feed trimmer heads release more string when the trimmer head is tapped lightly on the ground while running at full speed, or through automatic centrifugal advancement built into the spool system.
