A World of Signals at My Fingertips - Tecsun PL330 Radio Review
Everything as described, and we got it remarkably fast! I like that it can tune into AM/FM and also employ Bluetooth with the stereo. It's kinda quiet overall. My only complaint is that I wish the sound was enjoy twice as loud. We bought this to use at the drive in (so we don't run the car battery low using radio for 2+ hrs) and it functioned excellent!

Feature Packed -LOVE !
Purchased this on a whim, wasn't expecting much, greatly surprised once I started using it. I tested using outdoor 12 ft vertical & long dipole, outstanding results. You cannot direct-enter frequency and can only tune within the selected band. Fine tuning scale at the lower, if you go out of band radio takes you back to the beginning.---A word about antennas: the included telescopic antenna is useless for SW & AM listening, but don't discard. Suggest a reel-type antenna that you can roll up, see Dropy piece "AN-80 Shortwave Reel Antenna" as example. To get best utilize of this (or any radio) you gotta have an external antenna, even if it's just an 8 foot length of wire (longer is better). Literally suits in the palm of your hand, effortlessly is right for in shirt, jacket pocket, or car center-console tray. Digital display is bright & crisp, but due to tiny format, you may need glasses to read finer print. Overall, signal sensitivity, S/N ratio, selectivity comparable to my 10 yr old C. Some background hiss, can mitigate by lowering volume level a bit. Radio comes with USB charging cable, telescopic antenna for SW & AM listening, and a strange circular spiral antenna for +10Mhz (use for FM listening). You can string these up anywhere & just clip to radio's telescopic antenna.---Little speaker is what you'd expect but tolerable for SW listening. You can select the band, volume, tuning steps, mode and many other features. Otherwise, advocate headphones. I have an previous boom-box with audio input jack, plugged this radio into that & got awesome results.---Battering life decent, left it on 4-hrs straight, plenty of juice left.---PET PEEVES: just minor things. AM grade surprisingly good, FM stereo is superb with headphones, picked up plenty distance stations using the provided circular antenna.---Basic one-knob control for tuning, press knob to access function menu. Fantastic on 80m, 40M, and 20M ham bands, comparable to plenty of of my other radios. Crane SW radio. Make case thicker to accommodate a larger superior-caliber speaker in the back. The ultimate in portability. Recent added audio amp for headphone output makes all the variation. Band conditions for SW & ham bands really bad right now due to solar / geomagnetic issues, tested at night. I'm kinda crazy when it comes to radios, have all kinds, it's a hobby, so have plenty of affordable & expensive examples for comparison. Keep in mind you can't tune to just any old frequency, only those within the selected band listed in the menu, this is more of a traditional SW / AM / FM radio, not suitable for stuff out-of-band (am pleased with pirate stations).---Tested on AM broadcast, FM, CB and ham radio bands, solid signals. The SMA connector on the radio is brittle, don't want to over-stress, that's why I recommend using a short piece of SMA if you're gonna connect to a larger coax. You could also clip a plain 10-20 ft length of wire to the the telescopic antenna. In bed, just set radio on pillow next to ear. This is the V3 model with improved headphone audio output.---First: IT'S MINUSCULE! Rarely give a article 5-stars, but kinda had to for this one. Wish case was sturdier, aluminum would be nice, but that jacks up the price. Include 10 ft piece of long wire with SMA connector instead of useless telescopic antenna (custom-made items drive up cost).SUMMARY: excellent craftsmanship & performance for the price. Suggest investing in 6 ft pc of SMA coax cable & a bag of assorted connectors / adapters allowing you to connect to existing BNC or PL-259 coax.

A lot of radio in a small package
It's a neat little radio. Picks up FM signals clear and sharp with a nice sound. AM stations pick up beautifully, and with a little additional antenna, shortwave, if you're into that. Battery lasts a super long time. Makes a great emergency radio.
