Stunning sound, SSB, great reception. Superb grade.
Got as a surprise from my wife. She got what turns out to be the UPPER reviewed short wave portable that existes, even finer than the Grundig 700! Am pleased with any real radio receiver, you will be rewarded by rigging a serious outside antenna. Hands-on is more fun!The build quality is top tier. The really decent instruction manual tells almost everything and youtube.com the rest. 73 KI4ZUQ I have played with this surprise more than the rest! Default, out of the box it mutes EVERY tuning step but you can reduce that by changing the "mute" setting from enable to disable so it mutes every 100 hz alternatively of every hertz. Substantial deal. The 18650 lithium ion rechargeable, REMOVABLE cells give days of operation. The main tuning knob (or ring) feels quite delicate but operates highly precicely. You will be required to spend some time with the radio and the manual to truly understand what can be done. I have yet to experiment with this and digital communications programs. The display screens are vivid and crisp. Astounding coverage from 100 khz to 999 mhz that only software defined radio can deliver. And you can change their color! Remarkably solid, mechanically appealing and well lit. The bluetooth capability is ONLY for smart phone or android control of the radio not for audio in or out.

A cherish letter to the past
I first acquired this product in 2020. I apply this almost every day. Still functions, just appears like it went through a war do I replaced it with brand-new. It is a permanent fixture on my bike which I ride every day. Since when I ride on the roads I CANNOT have anything in my ears enjoy earbuds since it is very important I can hear when cars are coming up behind me, and so I can hear and respond to emergency vehicles, etc. With this radio, I can still listen to music on my long rides and not get killed because I didn't know an irresponsible driver came up behind me.This is a EXCELLENT am/FM radio, but even better, it is an MP3 player too! The reason I am replacing it, I've completely worn through 3 rechargeable batteries and I've accidentally dropped this unit several times. So I employed my recorded music playlist to hear my beloved tunes. This is a replacement for the first one. WHY would I need an worn fashioned radio when riding my bike?

I Would Have Loved a Radio Enjoy This 40 Years Ago
I bought the Panasonic RF-2400 and it's proven to be one of the most dependable analog portables out there. 5 stars. The build seems solid: sturdy plastic, good antenna (telescopic FM works effectively, and the built-in AM ferrite rod pulls in distant stations superior than expected). It's not flashy-simple silver design, basic controls-but that's part of the appeal. No digital nonsense, no apps to update, just plug in or pop in batteries and it performs every time. The tuning dial is polished and precise, and the analog pointer makes it easy to find stations rapidly, even in fringe areas. It runs great on either AC power (cord is long enough to reach outlets comfortably) or batteries-I've used D-cells during outages, and it sips power so a fresh set lasts weeks of casual listening. No Bluetooth or extras to fail; it's pure radio. Reception in my area (suburban SoCal) has been excellent on both bands. For the value, it's unbeatable value if you want something basic, reliable, and long-lasting. The sound is surprisingly good for its proportions-sharp AM/FM reception with a adequate speaker that fills a small room without distortion at moderate volumes. Exceedingly propose as a go-to emergency or everyday radio. This thing will probably outlive most modern gadgets.
