This is the one to get.
I got this one to replace a Midland ER2120 that clearly wasn't up for the job. This is the one I should have gotten in the first place. The build quality, band/channel reception, sound, and feature set all superior to other offerings and this radio comes with a very nice, foam lined carrying case. Sure, you can get a "better" emergency radio if you're willing to spend more, but this one gives you everything you need for much less than comparable offerings. This is the one to get.

Excellent for emergency
It runs great and even comes with extra batteries outside of the internal batteries. The quality is better than expected. The crank works but obviously is slow. I definitely think everyone should have one of these.

FAQs
What is the best hand crank solar emergency radio?
The Tenergy Multifunctional Emergency Radio is widely considered a top choice due to its reliable 4-way charging mechanisms, long 14-hour radio runtime, and tough build quality. It effectively combines critical emergency tools like an 85dB siren, dual flashlights, and a 2000mAh phone charger into one portable unit.
How long do hand crank radios last?
When fully charged via USB, the internal lithium-ion battery provides up to 14 hours of continuous radio operation or up to 10 hours of flashlight illumination. The mechanical hand crank can be operated indefinitely to provide short bursts of immediate power whenever the batteries drain.
Will you be using it mainly indoors at home or outdoors camping and hiking?
This versatile emergency device is carefully optimized for both environments. Its robust casing and portable 275-gram weight make it an excellent addition to outdoor hiking gear, while its long shelf life makes it ideal for home safety storage during monsoon power failures.
