Description
This specialized nursing nipple is engineered to provide a safe, natural feeding experience for orphaned small-to-medium baby animals, including small breed puppies, kittens, and nursing wildlife. Crafted from incredibly soft, durable, latex-free natural rubber, it closely replicates a mother's natural teat to encourage instinctual suckling and ease the transition to supplemental feeding.
Designed with crucial safety features, it incorporates an oversized base that prevents accidental swallowing and choking, giving Indian pet parents and wildlife rehabilitators complete peace of mind. Additionally, the integrated kneading pad at the base allows tiny paws to knead naturally, comforting and calming the animal during mealtime.
Perfect for delicate newborns, this professional-grade feeding tool helps minimize the risk of aspiration when paired with a syringe, ensuring controlled fluid flow for vulnerable neonates. Whether you are hand-rearing a litter of puppies or rescuing displaced backyard wildlife, this premium American-made nursing solution offers the durability, safety, and physiological comfort needed to help young animals thrive during their most fragile stages of development.
How to use
- When first starting to feed orphaned animals, we highly recommend using a syringe attached to the nipple rather than a bottle to reduce the chance of aspiration.
- Attach the luer lock tip of the syringe securely to the nipple base.
- Hold the syringe plunger back slightly to control the flow of the milk replacer formula, ensuring the animal swallows at its own pace without fluid flooding the lungs.
