    Nice simple routine but body lotion absorbs slowly

    I bought this skincare set about a month and a half ago because I wanted to try some basic products without a bunch of complicated ingredients. The set comes with three bottles - the niacinamide emulsion, the body lotion with inulin, and the face moisturizer with hyaluronic acid. All three come in simple white bottles with minimal labeling which I actually like, looks clean on my bathroom counter. I started using the niacinamide emulsion on my face morning and night after washing. The texture is lightweight and milky, spreads easily across the skin without feeling greasy. It absorbs within a minute or so and doesn't leave any sticky residue. My skin feels smooth after applying it and it layers well under sunscreen or makeup. After six weeks I haven't noticed any dramatic changes to my skin but it feels more hydrated than before and maybe a bit smoother overall. The face moisturizer with hyaluronic acid is thicker and creamier than the emulsion. I use this one mostly at night as a final step. It takes a bit longer to absorb, maybe 3-4 minutes before it fully sinks in. It does leave my skin feeling plump and moisturized in the morning. No irritation or breakouts from either of the face products which is good. Now the body lotion is where I have mixed feelings. The consistency is thick and rich which seems like it would be very moisturizing, but it takes forever to absorb into the skin. I apply it after showering and even after 10-15 minutes my skin still feels slightly tacky and greasy. I've tried using less product but then it doesn't feel like enough coverage for my whole body. The moisturizing effect is good once it finally absorbs - my skin does feel softer and less dry especially on my legs and arms. But the slow absorption time is annoying, especially when I'm trying to get dressed quickly in the morning. I've started only using it at night before bed so I dont have to worry about it rubbing off on my clothes. The bottles are a decent size and will probably last a few months with daily use. No strong scent to any of the products which I appreciate since I'm sensitive to fragrances. The ingredients lists are relatively short and straightforward compared to other brands. The price for the set is reasonable for three full size products. Overall these are functional no-frills skincare products that do basic moisturizing without any fancy claims or effects. The face products work well for daily hydration, just wish the body lotion absorbed faster to make it more practical for daytime use.

    Awesome and affordable

    This is my first use of Ordinary products, and I am quite impressed. My face and skin have felt super soft, supple, and there is a noticeable difference even after the first use. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, and I have had no issues using these products. I like that they are all travel size with enough in each bottle that I could use this for a whole month every day, and I feel like that's such a good value for this set.
