Decent dried sea moss
The dried sea moss has a scent curiously similar to generic dried fruit. Once processed into gel though, it's near completely scentless and flavorless. However, the instructions on the product pouch are minimal compared to the product page. I'd suggest testing out the process of rehydrating with a small amount of the dried sea moss before totally diving in, especially as the sea moss expands quite a bit with hydration.

Takes Time - But Good Product
Sea moss is all the rage. I've tried pre made gel before. I decided I wanted to make my own. This way I know exactly what is going into it.The prep is pretty easy, but it does take a while. Basically rinse the sea moss, then let it soak for about a day. Then blend. Then store in fridge. There is only about 5 minutes of actual work, most the time is just waiting.After being patient for a day, the sea moss gel is done, and ready. It tastes like sea moss gel to me; kind of like how I imagine the ocean would taste.I like that it is organic and a simple way to add a ton of nutrients to my diet.

This product is definitely an authentic wildcraft sea moss. When I first opened the package, I saw lots of thin stems of golden tan sea moss, no thick stems like the ones grown in a pool. The second thing I noticed is the pleasant dry sea moss smell, no chorine or chemical odor.Then the water test, after I soaked the sea moss in water for a few hours, it expanded but stayed crunchy. It didn't thicken or become gummy as fake sea moss does.Too soon to tell how beneficial this real sea moss is, but my body can always use those 99 organic minerals from sea moss

Although dry sea moss is not as convenient as sea moss in a jar. I need to take a little effort to prepare it. But it's worth the time. It was very simple, pre-soak one day ahead, the next day ready to use. It's taste very fresh and great to blend with smoothie. The advantage for this, you can control the ingredients in the gel. Just make right amount of gel each time. No worries about the self-life.
