FAQs
What does the vacuum breaker do on a Thetford toilet?
The vacuum breaker serves as a critical safety device that prevents wastewater from siphoning back into your fresh water supply. It maintains the necessary pressure balance within the toilet's flush system to ensure sanitary operation.
How do I know if my vacuum breaker is bad?
A failing vacuum breaker often manifests as water leaking from the back of the toilet during a flush cycle. If you notice persistent moisture or water drips behind your Aqua-Magic toilet, it is likely that the vacuum breaker seal or module has failed.
How do I know what size vacuum breaker I need?
The 34122 model is specifically engineered for Thetford Aqua-Magic Style II, Style Lite, Style Plus, and Residence series. Always check your toilet model number to ensure compatibility before installation.
