FAQs
What is a ThunderShirt and how does it work?
A ThunderShirt is a specialized calming vest designed for dogs that suffer from anxiety and fear. It works by applying gentle, constant pressure to the dog's torso, which has a dramatic calming effect on their nervous system, similar to swaddling an infant.
How many hours can a dog wear a ThunderShirt?
A dog can safely wear a ThunderShirt for several hours at a time, but it is recommended to remove it every one to two hours initially to check for any signs of irritation. Avoid leaving the vest on your pet continuously for an extended period without supervision.
Do dog anxiety vests really work?
Yes, surveys show that over 80% of dog owners report a significant improvement in their pet's anxiety symptoms when using the vest. It is widely recommended by veterinarians and professional trainers for noise phobias, separation anxiety, and travel stress.
Is this ThunderShirt an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic USA-imported ThunderShirt sourced directly from authorized channels in the United States. Dropy India ensures that Indian pet parents receive genuine, high-quality international pet care products directly to their doorstep.
Can I leave a ThunderShirt on overnight?
While the vest is made of breathable fabric, it is generally not recommended to leave it on your dog overnight unsupervised. It is best used during specific anxiety-inducing events or periods of distress.
