FAQs
Can I use a human hair trimmer on a dog?
While it is physically possible, it is not recommended to use human hair trimmers on dogs. Dog fur is typically much thicker and denser than human hair, which can cause human clippers to jam, pull the fur, or overheat rapidly, potentially harming your pet.
What do groomers use to cut dogs' hair?
Professional groomers use specialized heavy-duty pet clippers, grooming shears, and various sizes of clipper guards designed to handle different fur textures. They also rely on protective storage cases to keep these precision tools calibrated and safe from damage.
