Crafted from highly breathable and premium quality polyester mesh material, it ensures that your horse remains perfectly cool, comfortable, and well-ventilated even during hot and humid days. The intelligent design features an attached combo neck cover for comprehensive coverage, alongside secure twin front closures and low cross surcingles that guarantee a stable, non-slip fit during movement or turnout.
By creating a physical barrier against flies, gnats, and mosquitoes, it prevents skin irritation and summer sores while protecting the coat from sun bleaching. This durable and airy fly sheet combines optimal comfort with rugged functionality, making it the ideal choice for maintaining your horse's well-being and peace of mind in the pasture.
How to use
- Place the fly sheet gently over your horse's back, aligning the center line with the spine.
- Fasten the twin front chest closures snugly but comfortably, leaving enough room for natural shoulder movement.
- Secure the low cross surcingles under the belly, ensuring they cross in the middle and leave a hand's width of space to prevent tangling.

FAQs
Do fly sheets really work for horses?
Yes, fly sheets are highly effective at creating a physical barrier that prevents biting insects, flies, and gnats from landing on and irritating your horse's skin. They also provide valuable protection against solar UV rays, which helps prevent coat bleaching and sunburn.
How do combo neck fly sheets hold up?
Combo neck fly sheets are designed for durability and stay secure during pasture turnout thanks to integrated neck closures and belly surcingles. The continuous fabric construction prevents the neck section from sliding down, offering reliable and lasting coverage.
Do fly sheets keep horses cool?
Yes, high-quality fly sheets are made from specialized, open-weave polyester mesh that encourages natural airflow. This lightweight material reflects sunlight and protects your horse from insect-induced stress, which actually helps keep them cooler than being bare in direct sun.
Is this TuffRider Fly Sheet an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is a genuine TuffRider product imported directly from the USA. Dropy India sources authentic international equestrian gear directly from trusted US suppliers to ensure premium quality and original manufacturing standards for Indian buyers.
What size fly sheet for my horse should I choose?
To find the perfect fit, measure your horse from the center of the chest, along the side of the body, to the rear of the quarter just before the tail. This specific variant is size seventy-eight, which corresponds to standard equine measurement scales.
