Built with dual-sided stainless steel teeth, the wide side targets tough knots and mats without painful pulling, while the dense side smoothly sweeps away loose topcoat fur and thins out dead undercoat hair. The rounded outer edges of the blades are specifically engineered to glide across your pet's skin without causing scratches or irritation, ensuring a safe and pain-free experience.
Crafted with a lightweight, ergonomic non-slip rubber handle, this tool provides a comfortable grip that minimizes hand fatigue during long grooming sessions. Regular use significantly lowers household pet dander and loose hair, keeping your living space clean while maintaining a healthy, shiny, and mat-free coat for your pets.
How to use
- Start with the wider-spaced tooth side to gently work through stubborn mats and tangles, holding the hair at the root to avoid pulling the skin.

FAQs
What tool is best for removing matted dog hair?
A double-sided undercoat rake with rounded stainless steel teeth is highly effective. The wide-tooth side gently slices through dense mats, while the fine-tooth side removes loose fur.
Are deshedding combs good for cats?
Yes, deshedding combs are excellent for cats, especially medium and long-haired breeds. They safely remove trapped undercoat hair before it can form painful mats or lead to hairballs.
How do you comb matted cat hair without causing pain?
Hold the matted fur close to the skin at the root to prevent pulling. Use a specialized dematting comb with rounded blades and gently work from the ends of the hair inward toward the body.
Is this Txibi grooming tool an authentic USA import available in India?
Yes, this is an authentic USA-imported product. Dropy India sources genuine items directly from the USA, ensuring Indian pet parents receive high-quality, international-standard grooming tools.
Can this dual-sided rake be used on short-haired pets?
This tool is specifically optimized for medium, long, and thick-haired coats. For short-haired pets, the undercoat rake may not engage fully, and a standard grooming brush or glove is usually preferred.
