Description
The Untangler 7 Inch Pet Comb in Purple is a professional grade grooming tool engineered to make detangling a stress free experience for both pets and owners. Designed specifically for animals with long, thick, or fine hair, this comb features 51 independently rotating stainless steel teeth. These specialized pins move 360 degrees to gently wiggle through mats and tangles, significantly reducing the pulling force typically associated with traditional grooming brushes. By minimizing tugging, the rotating action prevents skin irritation and discomfort, making it ideal for daily grooming routines.
Beyond simple detangling, this high quality tool promotes overall skin and coat health. The rounded, tumbled smooth tips of the pins provide a gentle massage to the skin, stimulating natural oil production. These oils are then distributed along the hair shafts, resulting in a healthier, shinier, and more manageable coat. The comb is constructed with a durable spine and pins that are sonic welded to prevent fallout, ensuring long term reliability. Its anti static design is particularly effective in drier climates, preventing flyaway hair during maintenance. Whether you are managing seasonal shedding or clearing small tangles, this USA manufactured comb offers a humane and efficient solution for cats and dogs of all sizes.
How to use
- To remove mats, hold the hair mat at its base closest to the skin to prevent pulling.
- Gently rub the comb through the bottom of the mat, working your way upward until the tangle is loose.
- For stubborn or extra tight mats, you may apply a small amount of pet safe detangler or cornstarch to the area before combing.
