FAQs
What is the network keystone jack Cat6?
A Cat6 keystone jack is a standardized modular female connector used in structured cabling to terminate Ethernet network cables. It easily snaps into wall plates, surface mount boxes, or patch panels to provide clean and stable internet access ports throughout a building.
What is the difference between cat5e and Cat6 keystone jacks?
Cat6 keystone jacks are built to support higher bandwidth and faster data transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps at shorter distances compared to Cat5e, which maxes out at 1 Gbps. They also feature stricter specifications for cross talk and system noise reduction.
What is a Cat6 keystone coupler?
A Cat6 keystone coupler is an inline connector featuring female RJ45 ports on both sides. Unlike punch down jacks, it allows you to connect two pre terminated Ethernet cables together inside a wall plate without any specialized tools.
Are these Verbex Cat6 keystone jacks authentic USA imports?
Yes, they are authentic. Dropy India sources these products directly from the USA to ensure Indian consumers receive genuine, high quality networking hardware that meets international performance standards.
Do I need a specific tool to install these keystone jacks?
Yes, you will need a standard 110 type punch down tool to push the Ethernet wires securely into the slot contacts. A standard wire stripper is also recommended to cleanly remove the outer cable jacket before termination.
