  High standard organic oil. Valuable addition to my healthy diet

  My uses of MCT oil:-I am a health conscious person, who eats a very healthy diet. I also studied human metabolism in my upper level biochemistry class in college, along with personal interest independent study of nutrition. I often have read research papers on nutrition studies, for example. I have high regard for sound data, more than social media hype.Contrary to past hype promoting a low fat diet, I've long been aware of the nutrition wisdom that healthy fats play a critical role in good health, especially as our brain & spinal cord are composed of a high % of fats. Over the years, I've been health conscious to add various healthy fats to my diet, regularly eating healthy fats (fatty fish including sardines & salmon with skin, chia seeds, ground flaxseed meal, quinoa), avocados; various nuts/ nut products; cooking with various healthy oils (olive oil, avocado), etc. However, not all fats serve the same role in the body.So I was naturally interested when opportunity arose to obtain this healthy oil MCT product, out of curiosity and exploration.MCT fats are in a class of their own, & do not replace other fat types (such as omega 3s), due to the unique body metabolism involved for each different type of fat. (So this MCT oil has a place in my diet alongside the other healthy fats I consume, not to replace them).I found that main uses of MCT oil tend to revolve around common diet plans, including the paleo diet for which it is commonly used, & ketogenic diet, to serve as a healthy fuel source, in place of predominant carbohydrate metabolism, to gain various health benefits (especially weight loss & to correct abdominal 'belly' fat). I personally eat a simple, healthy diet, that is not any special plan.-I believe we are just beginning to learn the true depth of the value of various fats for human health.-I am aware of testimonials of prominent people gaining positive benefit from the ketogenic diet, including persons with various nervous system based disorders (e.g. such as multiple sclerosis). There have been proven extremely positive benefits of the ketogenic diet, in the case of the nervous system disorder of new childhood epilepsy, as seen in the film First Do No Harm, or for weight loss. If fats in the diet can so powerfully help in such pathology, to such a remarkable, near 'miraculous' degree, the positive potential for healthy use of this MCT oil in the diet definitely has my full attention. I believe we have just scratched the surface in understanding of this nutrition component for maintaining vibrant health.-For me, a main benefit of this oil in my personal healthy diet foods stash, to keep on hand for times when I need the benefits of the quick, fat based energy, that it provides. (For example, prior to exercise, on occasions where I need a quick healthy food, to balance other quick fuels, such as a protein shake). It can also serve additional bodily needs, such as internal intestinal lubrication or as a mild, healthy laxative. There is also possible anti-microbial action, against harmful microflora.Energy source-This MCT oil is an easy way for me to increase the nutritional value & satiety of my daily brunch. I most often eat a veggie stir fry for breakfast, which tends to be so light (despite added egg & meat such as turkey sausage), it can end up leading to hunger, even immediately after eating a whole plate of food. When I add a spoon of this MCT oil, I not only feel more full for longer, but I get the benefits of a lubricated GI system/ GI benefits & healthy fat metabolism. This MCT oil provides healthy nutrition & nutritional variety, so I do not need to find, prepare & consume additional food. It helps me to stay full, & reach the level of nutrients my body needs. It has the added benefit of supplying a good energy source for my various types of exercise after brunch.Cooking oil in a blend-Popcorn: is a highly healthy, low calorie, fiber packed snack that I regularly prepare. I have found this MCT oil to work very well, when mixed in a blend with my other oils, for preparing healthy popcorn, (for pan popped popcorn. I did not encounter any issue at all with oil smoke point issues).Positive benefits of this oil:-it is organic-it meets the claim to be a neutral oil, that is flavorless & odorless, which my taste/ smell testing verify to be true-it arrived perfectly crystal clear in color, ,& clean-This fractionated coconut oil has the most valuable fractions desired in an MCT oil; which are the shorter chain molecule fat components, that are processed as immediate body energy/ fuel, due to this molecular structure (C8 & C 10).-A valuable addition to my healthy diet.Money value:-While the price may seem high (similar to most oils), the oil comes in a nice, large, quart size bottle, providing a lot of oil that will last me a long time.

  Large, high-worth MCT oil that's ideal for regular infusions

  This is some solid MCT oil, and the 32 oz bottle is definitely more than enough for my needs. Both my wife and I go through MCT oil fairly quickly since we mainly use it for infusions, so having a larger bottle like this makes a lot of sense for us. It's nice not having to reorder as often, especially when we already know the product works well. I actually still have some left from the 16 oz bottle I previously bought from the same company, so I haven't cracked open this 32 oz bottle just yet. That said, based on how well the smaller bottle performed, I don't have any concerns about quality or consistency with this larger size. The oil from the smaller bottle was flavorless, colorless, easy to work with, and didn't cause any stomach issues, which is a big reason I decided to size up. From a value standpoint, this 32 oz bottle is a great deal. If the yield and performance are anything like the 16 oz version, this will last a good while and stretch even further for infusion batches. Overall, it's a great choice if you already use MCT oil regularly and want more quantity without sacrificing quality.

  One concern with wrapping.

  The item is what I need, but the cap on the bottle was leaking, and MCT oil was on the outside side of the bottle. The shipper should know of a potential problem. The product is great. Use it daily.
